H. Arlo Nimmo donated his field research data collected in 1963, 1965-1967, 1977, 1982 and 1997 among the Sama Dilaut (aka Bajau) of Tawi-Tawi Province, Philippines to the National Anthropological Archives at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D C. This collection, “The H. Arlo Nimmo Papers,” consists of correspondence, field journals, censuses, genealogies, maps, kinship charts, card files, photographs, color slides, sound recordings, song transcripts and unpublished manuscripts.  Nimmo donated DVD copies of the sound recordings to the Ateneo de Manila University Archives and the University of the Philippines Archives.
